Human Heroes respects the value of privacy and processes personal data only for it purpose for which they were provided and does not collect more personal data than strictly necessary (privacy by default), in accordance with the applicable European privacy law General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Dutch: AVG - Algemene Verordering Gegevensbescherming).

Human Heroes ensures that personal data are only available to those who need the data for the performance of the assignment.

Human Heroes can make use of the services of third parties in the execution of its tasks. This can be done by external labour forces that support Human Heroes in carrying out its tasks, external parties to which Human Heroes has (partially) outsourced tasks, or in partnerships in which tasks are taken up in collaboration with other parties. Human Heroes also makes use of online services such as private cloud services and private SaaS solutions for its provision of information.
Human Heroes works carefully in the selection of (executive) partners. With a view to privacy, Human Heroes lets third parties sign a processing agreement. By signing this agreement, they comply with the provisions from the GDPR in the performance of their duties. In the selection of online services that are used for the processing of personal data and other confidential data, a security / privacy scan is performed.

For the storage of data Human Heroes only uses the appropriate systems. Personal data will be deleted after completion of the processing. For certain types of data, Human Heroes must comply with retention periods from the Public Records Act. In that case, the data will be deleted after the retention period has expired.

From the law (RDPG), you as a person involved have a number of rights with respect to Human Heroes when it comes to the processing of your data.

• You are entitled to inspect the data that Human Heroes processes from you.
• You are entitled to information about how your data is processed.
• You are entitled to correct or supplement your data.
• You have the right to request Human Heroes to delete your data if Human Heroes does not have a legitimate reason to process the data for longer.
• You have the right to have less data processed.
• You can object to the processing of your personal data.
• You have the right to request Human Heroes to transfer your data to you in a structured, current and machine-readable form.
• You can object to automated individual decision making.

To exercise these rights, you can submit a request to Human Heroes via the e-mail address mentioned at the bottom of this website. Human Heroes will handle your request within 4 weeks.
Human Heroes must however be able to check whether the right person makes the request. You can only exercise your rights with regard to your own data. It is therefore possible that we ask you to identify yourself.

If you feel that Human Heroes does not help you adequately or does not correctly meet your privacy rights, you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority via https://www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl
